This 2-hour course is designed to for an intermediate rider looking for skill assessment and tips on improving their riding technique. Just a few simple adjustments to your body positioning or pedal strokes could mean a huge improvement to the efficiency and raise the fun factor of your overall riding.
Skills covered will include body positioning, braking, cornering, speed, climbing and descending and how to successfully maneuver obstacles on the trail.

For the month of July we are offering a Race Training series that will coincide with the CMBC Race Series. This is a 4-part training session with personalized instruction to increase your mountain bike speed, strength and strategy while also providing on-site coaching during actual race events.
Training nights will focus on skill development and practice, as well as some discussion of fitness training, preparation, hydration, and equipment. Race nights we meet early to pre-ride the course and talk about race strategy and tactics.

This introductory clinic was created to have you out riding your mountain bike more confidently and safely, all the while having a fun day on the saddle!
Our clinics are divided into two 2 hour sessions where we will cover core techniques and then follow up one week later with a mountain bike ride to use your new skills on the trail. Personalized and professional instruction will have you riding your bike more confidently and efficiently!

Let’s hit the trails! Whitehorse has some of the best mountain biking trails in all of Canada. With these weekly mountain bike rides, kids will gain skills necessary for a safe and fun mountain bike ride. The goals of these rides are to learn new techniques, make new riding friends and explore new trails around Whitehorse!
Our certified instructors and guides will teach proper body positioning, pedaling, braking, maneuvering obstacles, climbing and descending techniques, all in a fun and controlled environment! Personal safety on the bike and trail etiquette will be highlighted throughout the rides, as well as having a great time.
Max participants 12 per session (1:6 Instructor to Rider ratio). A minimum 20” wheeled mountain bike and helmet required to participate.
Most lessons range from 2-3 hours depending on rider’s expectations. One on one instruction with our IMIC certified mountain bike instructors. These lessons are perfect for those riders that are looking to improve specific techniques or for those wanting a more in depth, personal learning experience. Lessons are individually customized to ensure you ride away a stronger, more efficient mountain biker.
Groups are welcome to contact us to arrange for private clinics. We will require a minimum of 4 riders to create a custom clinic. Price and structure follows the adult beginner and intermediate format; however the dates and times are flexible to suit your schedules.
